Our pro­ducts only leave our fac­tory when we are con­vin­ced of their per­fect func­tion and qua­lity. No mat­ter what harsh ope­ra­ting con­di­ti­ons our dril­ling rigs are expo­sed to, we ensure that they will still hold up deca­des later and thus con­tri­bute to your suc­cess. Our main focus is not to pro­duce a glossy pro­duct but high qua­lity pro­ducts that work.

For more than 40 years we have been deve­lo­ping and pro­du­cing dril­ling rigs and dril­ling access­ories for the field of spe­cial civil engineering and mining at our site in Velden/Vils, thus our pro­ducts are cha­rac­te­ri­zed by the qua­lity fea­ture made in Ger­many.
Our main mar­ket is in Ger­many, in addi­tion, our sales areas include the rest of Europe, Rus­sia and China. Our dril­ling rigs and tools are available in the weight clas­ses of 3–120 tons in a wide range of varia­ti­ons – enti­rely accor­ding to cus­to­mer requi­re­ments.
Every sin­gle machine that lea­ves our plant in sou­thern Ger­many embo­dies our values and our phi­lo­so­phy: We want our cus­to­mers to achieve results with our pro­ducts that can­not be sur­pas­sed. The pas­sion for per­fec­tion on both a small and a large scale deter­mi­nes our thoughts and actions.

The Botec-Scheitza team enables the grea­test suc­cess for your dril­ling technology. Our dril­ling rigs are not glossy pro­ducts, but embody rug­ged dura­bi­lity for the harsh working envi­ron­ment of the dril­ling indus­try. Com­bi­ned with modern motors and sys­tem com­pon­ents, we achieve the opti­mum com­bi­na­tion of robust mecha­ni­cal engineering and modern tech­no­lo­gies.

Today, the family busi­ness is mana­ged by Ralf Scheitza and his son Andreas Scheitza.

Foun­da­tion of the com­pany Botec-Scheitza by Arnold Scheitza in Eichen­ried near Munich.

1981
Relo­ca­tion of the com­pany to Velden/Vils (cur­rent pro­duc­tion site). First dril­ling rigs in Velden/Vils.

1994
Expan­sion of the pro­duct range to include oil­field technology. Botec-Scheitza now also manu­fac­tures drill pipes, machi­nes and access­ories for oil dril­ling accor­ding to
indi­vi­dual cus­to­mer request.

2004
Son Ralf Scheitza joins the com­pany manage­ment.

2005
Botec-Scheitza now also sup­plies machi­nes for under­ground mining.

Acqui­si­tion of state-of-the-art CNC machi­nes. Expan­sion or construction of a new pro­duc­tion hall. CAD sup­ported deve­lo­p­ment.

2014
Manu­fac­tu­ring of state-of-the-art and envi­ron­men­tally fri­endly dril­ling rigs accor­ding to EURO 5 stan­dard.

2017
Expan­sion of the pro­duc­tion area by 2,500 sqm. Expan­sion by the depart­ment of envi­ron­men­tal engineering plant construction.

2020
Appoint­ment of Andreas Scheitza as Mana­ging Direc­tor.

Expan­sion of the pro­duc­tion and sto­rage area by a fur­ther 5,000 sqm.
